What is Lifeline
Rescue Group

Lifeline Rescue Group is a Christian non-profit organization that exists to aid in the rescue and restoration of the trafficked, exploited and enslaved around the world.

Based inside of the United States of America, Lifeline Rescue Group is working domestically and internationally to combat human trafficking through a unique approach centered on front line research, preventative awareness and education, rescue of the enslaved and exploited, and restoration through emotional and spiritual counseling, medical assistance, and societal reentry.

Our Mission and Vision

There is a great need and gap in the world today. Right now there are more slaves than in any other time in human history. Children sold into marriage, men forced to work for little or no pay for long hours in mines across the world, and women forced to film adult content for the financial gain of a partner. Our mission is to search out those being exploited, to tell their story, to make the world aware of their situation, to go to their personal prisons and set them free. Our mission is to find them in the streets, to cut physical chains, and to rescue the trafficked from physical captors. Our mission is to bring to bear all resources possible to help survivors, to provide a place of refuge to those we rescue, to empower through vocational training and counseling, to prepare for a bright new future, to help rediscover their lost worth, and to help find freedom in Christ the loving Saviour. Finally, our mission is simple: to aid in the rescue, and restoration of the trafficked, enslaved, and exploited worldwide.

Our vision is for every man, woman, and child to live in physical and spiritual freedom. Our hope is to bring light to people who only know darkness, to bring hope to the hopeless, and to bring freedom to the enslaved. Our vision is to free every captive and to restore the broken. We believe by rescuing, bringing awareness, and offering resources for restoration we can pave the way for freedom and we can begin to envision a world where there is no such thing as slavery.

The Start of
Lifeline Rescue

A MEssage From Our Founder...

The vision for Lifeline began 10 years ago in a Bible college class. I remember my professor sharing the harsh reality of human trafficking in the world and in the United states. I remember envisioning the horrors of children being kidnapped and transported around the world to be used by offenders. I thought of children being too young to even know the words to describe how they feel. I remember envisioning a child who will never have Christmas with their family ever again. I was filled with such a burden and desire to help. I remember thinking… “ I’m gonna do that one day…I'm gonna help.” My desire to help was strengthened by my professor's words:

“The greatest need of the hour, is for men and ladies who are willing to hazard their lives for the cause of setting captives free”

God used the words in Isaiah 61:1 to speak to my heart and confirm my desire:  “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”  Isaiah 61.1 KJV

I had no clue how to help or where to begin, I never imagined starting a non-profit. I decided to join the Army to learn as much as I could about being a defender and rescuer, not knowing how long I would stay. After eight years in the United States Army, in late 2024, the Lord gave me direction and an amazing team to help start Lifeline Rescue Group. Lifeline is a ministry. Our desire is to help the helpless, to bring a light into the darkest corners of the world, to set captives free, to bring a future to the hopeless, and most importantly, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray with us as we strive to endure any hardship, fight any evil, and face any peril to set people free from modern day slavery.

Get to Know Our Founders

Ruben was born and raised in California. Ruben believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2006 as a child. Upon graduation from high school he attended a Bible college where he earned an associates degree in general Biblical Studies and met his wife, Becca. It was in college that the Lord placed a heavy burden on Ruben's heart for the enslaved and exploited around the world. He joined the army in 2016 where he served as an Infantryman, Scout, Paratrooper, and earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. Ruben completed an internship program with Pivot-Faith and Valor, a faith based Counter Human Trafficking non-profit, during his internship he participated in counter human trafficking rescue operations in South America. Throughout his 8 years in the army, the Lord maintained a burden on Ruben's heart to rescue men, women, and children from human trafficking. In late 2024, Ruben transitioned out of the army to start Lifeline Rescue Group, a Counter Human Trafficking Ministry.

Becca co-founded Lifeline Rescue Group in 2024 along with her husband. Becca met Ruben while attending Bible College where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Missions. Becca is a Registered Nurse and a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. She has years of experience working at a crisis pregnancy center where she ministered to hurting women. She also has experience working with trafficked survivors in a safe home and at-risk youth. Becca was at a human trafficking conference in Iowa when she realized the need and felt burdened to help. Becca’s life verse is Psalm 72:4 “...he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

Our Lifeline

At Lifeline we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of mankind, and the Only Way to life after death. We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and inerrant word to mankind. We believe that physical freedom and liberty is important to all mankind.

We believe that Spiritual freedom in Christ is the single most important form of freedom that any human being could ever have. Our aim is not only to set captives free physically but to also offer the knowledge of Spiritual freedom in Christ Jesus, the ultimate Rescuer.
