What is Human Trafficking?

The two major forms of human trafficking are sex trafficking and labor trafficking.
Sex trafficking is the most prominent form of human trafficking making up 79% of human trafficking. Sex trafficking is when a person is forced, tricked, or coerced to perform sexual acts for profit and involves men, women, and children from any demographic.

Labor trafficking is the next most common type of human trafficking making up 18% of all human trafficking. Labor trafficking is when a person is forced, tricked, or coerced to conduct labor with little to no pay and involves men, women, or children.
